China Coast Guard Conducts Drills on Rights-protection Law Enforcement and Management and Control in the Waters near China’s Huangyan Dao

中国海警局新闻发言人姜略表示，8月1日，中国海警位黄岩岛附近海域组织维权执法管控演练，重点演练临检拿捕、拦阻冲闯、强制拖离等执法行动。黄岩岛是中国固有领土。中国海警将加大黄岩岛附近海域维权执法管控力度，坚决维护国家领土主权和海洋权益。

Jiang Lue, spokesperson for the China Coast Guard (CCG), stated that onAugust1, the CCG conducted drills on rights-protection law enforcement and management and control in the waters near China’s Huangyan Dao, focusing on operations such as visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS), interdiction of forced entry, and forced towing. Huangyan Dao is an inherent part of China’s territory. The CCG will step up efforts in rights-protection law enforcement and management and control in the waters near Huangyan Dao, and resolutely safeguard China’s territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests.
